Individual therapy is a supportive space for those seeking to work through challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, everyday pressures, emotional regulation struggles, or trauma. It offers a compassionate and confidential environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain clarity, and receive guidance. Whether you’re navigating specific issues or simply need someone to talk to, therapy provides the understanding and support you deserve to foster personal growth and well-being.

I provide specialized services for adults who are navigating substance use challenges while striving to reduce or eliminate their use and maintain a healthy work-life balance. My approach equips individuals with practical tools and coping strategies to effectively manage substance use, improve overall well-being, and succeed in both their personal and professional lives. Through tailored support, I help clients achieve a sustainable path to recovery while honoring their work commitments. I use Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Contingency Management, and Motivational Interviewing techniques.

Couples Therapy/PreMarital

Whether you're seeking healthier ways to express your emotions, or working through past traumas that affect your interactions, therapy offers the support and tools needed for lasting growth. Family Therapy

$150

Family therapy is designed to help each family member work together to foster a safe and supportive environment, promoting cohesion and positive dynamics within the household. By focusing on improving communication, addressing generational patterns, and exploring past and present trauma that contributes to tension and conflict, family therapy fosters a deeper understanding and connection. Using systemic therapy techniques, we will aim to bring balance and harmony to the family unit, creating a sense of calm and stability. I incorporate approaches from Bowenian and Structural Therapy to enhance the effectiveness of the process. Techniques such as role-playing, structural mapping, active listening, healthy boundary, and solution-focused strategies, are utilized to guide families toward resolving conflicts. The ultimate goal is to strengthen relationships, eliminate unhealthy patterns, and help families create a supportive, thriving dynamic.

Sports Mental Health and Anxiety

$150

Sports performance and mental health therapy can offer tremendous benefits, especially for teens and athletes who face the stress of competition, high expectations, or the pressure to perform. When stress from sports impacts mental well-being, it can lead to anxiety, self-doubt, or burnout. Moonlite therapy can help athletes build resilience by teaching tools like mindfulness, deep breathing, visualization, and positive self-talk—techniques that improve focus and reduce anxiety both on and off the field.

Mindfulness helps athletes stay present, blocking out distractions and staying calm under pressure. Deep breathing techniques can quickly reduce feelings of anxiety and help them regain control during stressful moments. Visualization allows them to mentally rehearse success, increasing confidence and improving performance. Positive self-talk shifts their mindset from self-criticism to motivation, helping to build a healthier inner dialogue.

Athletes and teens experiencing stress from sports can greatly benefit from therapy by learning to manage their emotions, enhance their focus, and ultimately perform better without the overwhelming mental strain. Therapy provides a supportive environment to process their challenges and strengthen their mental game, ensuring they not only succeed in sports but also maintain their overall well-being.

I will help you get your head in the game, on and off the field!

Teen Individual Therapy

$130

Teen therapy can be incredibly beneficial for ages 12-18 year old’s who are going through a lot of changes and challenges. Most teens are struggling to navigate anxiety, school stress, friendships, depression, family issues, figuring out their identity, and who they want to be in the future. I have found that therapy gives teens a safe space to talk about their feelings, vent, and explore their thoughts without judgment or fear. Therapy can also help them develop coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, or difficult emotions, and learn how to better communicate with others. It’s a great way to support their mental health and help them build confidence and resilience during a time that can be really tough.

One of the key areas it can help with is the impact of social media on self-esteem. With the constant comparison to others and the pressure to present a perfect image, teens can struggle with feeling inadequate or unworthy. At Moonlite, I provide tools to manage these feelings and build healthier self-esteem and overall confidence. Additionally, the pressure from peers and online environments can sometimes contribute to more serious struggles, like thoughts of suicidality and self-harm. In my sessions, I help teens address these feelings, cope with peer pressure, and find healthier ways to navigate relationships. Therapy is a great way to support their mental health, boost their confidence, and help them build resilience to face life’s challenges.

Trauma Therapy

$150

Trauma is essentially a response to an event or experience that deeply affects us, often in ways we might not immediately understand. It could be something like an accident, the loss of a loved one, a toxic end to a relationship, or experiencing abuse or neglect. Trauma can also be the result of ongoing stress, like living in a toxic environment or enduring long-term pressure. It impacts how we feel, think, and behave, sometimes showing up in ways like anxiety, emotional numbness, or difficulty trusting others. Everyone reacts to trauma differently, and it's important to recognize that it's not about the event itself, but how it affects us personally. As a trauma informed therapist I help my clients navigate traumatic symptoms by incorporating awareness of triggers, empowerment, safety, trust, and cultural consideration.
